stained glass
I began my stained glass journey in 2007, starting with copper foil method and branching out into leaded glass. It started on a whim and quickly took over my free time. Evey project is a challenge and I love a good challenge. I'd love to work on a custom piece for you.
rose garden panel lamp
This commissioned lampshade is a design based on a Tiffany style lampshade I had designed. With the lamp base it stands 15" tall.
Queen Alexandra butterfly bookends
These commissioned bookends utilize the copper foil method with foil overlays for details on the wings.
soloman window
This commissioned piece is in honor if the client's wife and her horse. Copper foil method, designed to hang in a window. 18" x 12"
magpies
Stained glass can be both funtional and decorative. My won kitchen cabinets and window valance have a bird theme.
The quilter's lodge
These two lead glass panels are installed at a quilt store in Draper, Utah. I worked closely with the client on design and color choices. Both are installed in interior walls but get plenty of light. 72" wide x 32" tall
The One true vine
Words pose an interesting challenge. Now all fonts translate to glass and/or are readable.
rose garden lamp shade
This is a traditional Tiffany style lamp shade that I designed and assembled. 22" diameter.
nine mile canyon
This Southern Utah themed piece still remains one of my biggest challenges - a full sized pool table lampshade. With hundreds of pieces of glass and a lot of square footage, it wasn't just awkward to assemble, clean, patina, and polish, it weighed a TON! I'm sure the neighbors were entertained watching me wash it with the garden hose in my driveway.
